A four room apartment in a medieval house dating from the 16th century with stone walls two meters thick typical of the "montagnola senese", mountainous area to the immediate west of Siena. The apartment has been restored without disturbing the original qualities of the architecture. Wood beam ceilings, terra cotta floors and white plaster walls have been kept in the traditional Tuscan style. The apartment is fully furnished with a mixture of contemporary pieces and antiques. The living room has a working stone fireplace three meters wide. The kitchen is modern with a gas stove and a washing machine for laundry. The bathroom has been completely rehabilitated with modern fixtures and vintage marble walls, floor and shower.
