Come & escape to the beauty of Cape San Blas & Barrier Dunes. Cape San Blas is located 50 miles SE of Panama City between Port St. Joe & Apalachicola, just E of Mexico Beach & W of St. George Island!

Barrier Dunes is a secure, gated community with 2 fantastic pools. One is located directly on the dunes with a beautiful view of the ocean and beach. It also has lighted tennis courts, fishing ponds and is VERY family friendly & pet friendly (no time restrictions on when a dog can be on the beach!)

T.H. Stone St. Joseph State Park is located right next door, & offers excellent access to the bay as well as 7 miles of undeveloped pristine wilderness area & beach. Nature lovers will enjoy rare views of sea birds & other natural wildlife. We took a boat out in the bay and saw dolphin dancing around the boat, schools of stingray, starfish, sea urchins, sand dollars, fish & crab! The clear water bay is one of the cleanest in Florida & provides excellent snorkeling, boating, fishing, crabbing & scalloping.


THE CAPE ESCAPE I: 2BR/2BA. Oversized King master suite with dedicated balcony, dressing area with double sinks, walk-in closet, bathroom with separate shower & a garden along with a full laundry room (complete with laundry detergent) on the upper floor. The lower floor has a fully-equipped kitchen right down to the spices and dishwashing detergent, overlooking the dining area & family room, a Queen bedroom, & a full bathroom. The family room includes a cable TV, VCR, books, puzzle and games & a Sleeper Sofa. You will find a gas grill on the large back deck!

THE CAPE ESCAPE II: 2BR/2.5BA. 100 steps from The Cape Escape & on the lake--FISH FROM THE BACK PORCH!! On the upper level is a King & Queen bedroom, both with private bathrooms & porches. They both have Cable TV--1 has a VCR, the other a DVD! 2 of the 3 decks overlook a large freshwater fishing lake and the unit is 200 steps to the beach or the gulf front pool! Electric grill.

Both are supplied by the owner with GREAT amenities--owners provide beach chairs, kite, crab nets/buckets, diver down flag, rafts & floats and a beach cart to get it there, though they are both 200 steps or LESS to the beach!

Although Cape San Blas is quite and peaceful, without the dense high rise condo’s of Destin or Panama City, it does not mean that you can’t find “the basics” on the Cape. There are 2 outlets on the Cape for groceries and other “beach basics”. There are also full size grocery stores in Port St. Joe (20 min) and Apalachicola (25 min).
